Social Security Disability Law
Presenter: Sarah Bohr This session will provide an overview of key regulatory provisions and rulings governing disability law, including establishing an impairment and the duration of impairments, the sequential evaluation process, legal theories of disability cases, the Medical-Vocational Guidelines, special rules for evaluating mental impairments, medical opinions, subjective symptoms, failure to follow treatment, onset dates, termination cases and other issues. The materials will include a handy checklist to assist in developing a winning theory of a case.
